If you wish to learn programming, you can find several good and freely-available courses in such places as Codecademy, Coursera, edX, and Udacity. I recommend visiting these sites and searching for “computer science” and/or “programming” courses. Select any one of the introductory courses that teach Java or Python, and take it. Make sure that you do the homework assignments — you can’t learn programming without getting your hands dirty.
